(Dj) Adrian Jay Began playing Music with my best friend whilst still at school,
When I arrived at collage to study electronics.
I met up with guys who helped me with the start of a mobile disco,
and so the story began.
I started to work as a DJ in 1974 when I worked at Calderstones 73 social club, local youth clubs and Private Parties for friends and family.
Who would have thought 45 years on and still working.
Deejay Mobile Discos was established in 1976, working in pubs and clubs within a 30 mile radius of Blackburn, and in 1978 the company had grown, following the acquisition of several large mobile discos in the area - as part of the Townsend Music Group Accrington.
Deejay Mobile Discos Rebranded as Deejay Discos and its area covered grew,
working anywhere from South Coast to Lanarkshire and anywhere in-between.
Contracts were won with Club 18/30 holidays and Warner Leisure Twenties holidays leading to summer assignments in
Palma and Arenal in Majorca and San Antonio in Ibiza.
In 2006 we have now expanded into Paper and Elecronic Quiz nights,
with Bingo and other games.
Also hosting Karaoke competition and knockout nights
